Do you save my card details? What is tokenization?

We never store your credit card details. That's the short answer.

The longer answer is, your details are handled with an industry standard called tokenization, which means that we never have access to any sensitive part of your card data. When you enter your credit card information and click on "Pay", we receive a non-decipherable sequence of characters called a token from our payment processor (the certified company that is connected to VISA, MasterCard and other payment networks). 

This token is used to reference your particular card, without exposing any of its details to us. We can't use this token to get the actual card data that you have entered. 

If you decide to save your credit card details by ticking "Remember this card" we'll save the token. If you later decide to pay using any of your saved cards you might have to complete additional verification steps on your bank's request e.g. entering a verification code that you receive through email or sms, pushing a button on your bank's application or using other means of verification. These additional steps make it impossible for anyone to misuse the token.
